Children are citizens today

CWC’s child rights work is about giving children the power to participate and the strength to change their own situation.

CWC has been a partner of FORUT for 40 years and has played – and continues to play – a significant role in FORUT’s work on child rights, locally led development, and strengthening civil society and democratic participation.

Executive Director Kavita Ratna will retire at the end of the year and will visit Norway together with her successor, Shetty Shivanda.

CWC was one of the initiators behind the International Day of Play. It is therefore a great pleasure to celebrate both our long-standing partnership and the newly established day here in Gjøvik.
